Mon Ami - No. 1 is the first suitcase in Le Petit Perron's sensory learning universe.

A sensory suitcase that invites children and adults to explore the world through the senses.

Mon Ami's first journey takes him to the Andes Mountains.

Here he meets alpacas, explores nature, and collects stories, experiences, and small discoveries, which he packs into his first suitcase and sends home to the little platform.

From here, the suitcase travels on to children and adults, who are invited to join the exploration.

Through stories, dream journeys, activities, factual knowledge, and sensory materials, the child gets to know their senses better, while together you explore the Andes Mountains and South America.

The suitcase is created for presence, curiosity, and immersion – and to be opened again and again.

Where can the suitcase be used?

The Mon Ami suitcase is developed for use at home, in homeschooling, institutions, libraries, and other learning environments where there is room for presence, curiosity, and shared experiences.

Origin

The Mon Ami suitcases are developed in our atelier in Provence, Southern France.

Here we create the stories, activities, and small universes that fill the suitcases with experiences, learning, and curiosity.

The suitcases are produced in limited editions by our Danish suitcase maker, after which they are carefully assembled in our atelier before being sent out into the world.

Materials

We believe that learning is also experienced through the materials.

Therefore, Mon Ami - No. 1 is developed with a focus on natural and carefully selected materials such as wood, linen, cotton, wool, recycled paper, and organic flax seeds.

The materials are chosen with consideration for both the sensory experience, quality, and the long lifespan of the suitcase.

We strive to use durable materials that can be used, explored, and returned to again and again.
