Sensory storytelling performances where imagination turns into learning

Le Petit Perron's performances invite children into a poetic universe where storytelling, curiosity, and learning go hand in hand.

Together with the little travel companion Mon Ami, an old suitcase filled with small treasures from around the world is opened. Each item holds a new story that sparks imagination, wonder, and the desire to learn.

The children are not just spectators – they become part of the story. Through questions, conversations, and small tasks, they help Mon Ami investigate, think, guess, and discover the world around them.

More than a performance

Each story is developed with a focus on both presence and learning.

Stories can be about topics such as:

  • Nature and animals
  • Friendship and community
  • Emotions and empathy
  • Culture and different countries
  • Geography and travel
  • Language and words
  • Creativity and imagination
  • Sustainability and curiosity about the world

Everything is communicated through storytelling, dialogue, props, music, and shared experiences, making learning a natural part of the story.

The audience is involved all the way

Mon Ami asks questions, listens, wonders, and invites the children to help.

Together, we find clues, solve small mysteries, sing, explore props, and create the story collectively.

Each performance is therefore a little different – because the children help shape the experience.
